A landscaping foreman is an individual who oversees landscaping crews.

Landscape Foreman Duties:
- Ensure the maintenance of the organization’s landscaping and grounds, including maintenance of existing landscapes, pruning trees, planting and weeding, emptying trash, and maintaining irrigation
 - Maintain accurate records and reports for all areas of responsibility
 - Attend to complaints and requests, resolve disputes, and deal with client and employee issues
 - Track and report all work, update records, and manage safety, health, and environmental issues
 - Maintain and report budget status
 - Provide direction to assistants
 
Landscape Foreman Responsibilities:
- Supervise subordinates and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards, while facilitating communication
 - between employees and management
 - Maintain and update SOW and other documents including project specs, work plans, cost estimates, and evaluation forms
 - Maintain and coordinate all subcontractors, material vendors, and laborers
 - Maintain landscape inventories and storage area for materials, tools, equipment, and accessories
 - Maintain and update landscape inventory list
 - Document field activity including weekly reports, time sheets, and expense reports
 - Monitor inventory levels
 - Manage landscape subcontractors and vendors
 - Report on workload, material usage, and subcontractor performance to management
 - Provide direction and guidance to subcontractors
 - Manage landscape inventory
 - Maintain landscape tools and equipment
 - Perform all landscaping and maintenance duties
 
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
 - 3+ years experience in supervisory or managerial role
 - Understanding of construction methods and technologies
 - Ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts
 - May have knowledge of building code requirements and scheduling
 - Knowledge of jobsite safety practices required
