We’re looking for a Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers and a creative eye for design. Floral Designer Duties:
- Create flower arrangements for corporate and private residences
 - Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and florists
 - Design floral arrangements based on customer requests and budgetary considerations
 - Work collaboratively with press relations department, marketing, and sales departments
 - Comfortable meeting with customer for consultation and to discuss design
 - Working knowledge of floral terms, materials, and techniques
 
Floral Designer Responsibilities:
- Assist with conducting client and vendor interviews, including gathering basic information on desired products, budget, and scheduling needs
 - Assist with setting floral displays by decorating and arranging centerpieces, cakes, and ceremony arches
 - Maintain product inventory and order supplies, and rotate stock regularly to prevent spoilage
 - Assist with preparing floral containers for delivery by cleaning, arranging, and sealing flowers
 - Perform any other duties as assigned
 
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in art and design
 - 3+ years’ proven experience, preferably in the floral industry
 - Excellent working knowledge of plant identification, arrangements, color theory, and design principles
 - Knowledge of industry standards, trends, and techniques
 - Excellent knowledge of floral elements and techniques
