Coroner is a person who investigates deaths, usually at sudden and unexpected events.

Job Brief:
We’re looking for a coroner to determine the cause of death of the victim.
Coroner Duties:
- Prepare death certificates
 - Obtain and analyze evidence
 - Conduct examinations and interviews
 - Advise on litigation and legal matters
 - Prepare reports
 - Degree in medical field required
 - Certification and/or experience in conducting autopsies
 
Coroner Responsibilities:
- Attend to and perform autopsies and other laboratory duties; respond to all notifications of suspicious deaths, accident scenes, and other incidents
 - Screen all suspicious deaths, compile preliminary case information, and initiate investigation
 - Interpret and apply medical knowledge to cause of death
 - Prepare autopsy reports, death certificates, and toxicology reports
 - Perform other duties as needed
 
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in forensic science or related field
 - 2+ years experience in forensic pathology
 - Knowledge of professional standards and ethics
 - Experience performing autopsies
